Full Version: No CGI Movie Playback

Hallo,

i have tryed prince of persia and largo winch and on both games i dont have the playback of the cgi movies.
it shows a black screen with so artifacts (pixels). i only hear the audio playback.
Is it possible to fix this with some settings in the ini file?

Both are the EUR versions of the game.

What version of dolphin are you using? What are your graphics settings?

Have the same problem in Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell Double Agent.

Using Dolphin_5.0-9497(7.0)_MMJ.

If you are having the problem with the MMJ builds and not the official builds, you have to ask in the thread that is specifically about that build. We don't provide support for it.

Ok but I also tried it using the latest version available on the Google Play Store which is 5.0-9494 with the same configuration and the result is the same.

I have tested my settings on the latest official build. I have also tested the Game xiii with the same issue. Splinter Cell hast the same problems. I think the Android Port of dolphin have problems with the video driver.

Can someone confirm this?
My phone ist a Samsung Note 9 (Exynos)

The backend multi-threading setting has no effect on OpenGL.

I remember I had the same problem on Sonic Adventure DX. I saw those white pixels too, while on any other game I would have a black screen no matter if I use OpenGL or Vulkan. The problem was gone after the second update of Android 9 (I guess they fixed some stuff) and that's when I could finally be able to play GC games.
thank you, the second update for Android 9 isnt out yet due to my provider.
Seems to me for a problem with the driver.
