Hi Dolphin forums!

I have just installed Dolphin and attempted to play my favourite game 'Mario Kart: Double Dash!' but not having any luck. I suspect the answer is probably that my graphics card is not good enough as trying to play on a fairly basic laptop but wondered if any of you guys could help:

When starting the game I receive the following error message:

GPU: OGL ERROR: Need at least GLSL 1.30
GPU: Does your video card support OpenGL 3.0?
GPU: Your driver supports GLSL 4.40 - Build 21.20.16.4542

followed by:

Failed to compile vertex shader: C:/Users/*USER*/Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Dump/bad_vs_0000.txt
Debug info (Intel, Intel® HD Graphics 520, 4.4.0 - Build 21.20.16.4542):
ERROR: 1:8 'std140' : syntax error syntax error

and then:

Failed to compile pixel shader:
C:/Users/*USER*/Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Dump/bad_vs_0000.txt
Debug info (Intel, Intel® HD Graphics 520, 4.4.0 - Build 21.20.16.4542):
ERROR: 1:8 'std140' : syntax error syntax error

and then these last two errors repeat. I can eventually hear sound OK but nothing shows on the screen.

OpenGL Extensions Viewer gives me the following info on my hardware:

Renderer: Intel® HD Graphics 520
Adapter RAM: 1024 MB
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz, Skylake-U, Family 6h, Model:4eh, Stepping:3h
OpenGL Version: 4.4
Driver Version: 21.20.16.4542 (.dll)
24-Oct-16
DirectX Version: DirectX9.0, 11.0
Shader model: vs_5_0, ps_5_0
Vulkan: Not available

Any other info needed to help diagnose please just let me know.

Would love to find out what the problem is and what I would need to do / upgrade to fix it so any help gratefully appreciated!!

Thanks

This is a known bug in Dolphin 5.0. Update to a development version.
