I was playing Super Mariso sunshine with a playstation 4 controller (as that works with Dolphin) and there isn't any problems with the controller or anything like that but the game is NOT 120% completable as I went over the the stranded dudes island AND THERE WAS NO GOLDEN BIRD! I tried a different slot like B and even put the newest update in the emulator but the bird is gone and I've used this... specific game before and bought it from the same place to see if it was the copy but IT ISN'T

Because I just checked on my two save files, and my fresh new one with only 3 stars has no bird, but my one at like 40 stars does have the bird. So you probably need to progress to a certain part of the story for it to show up.

yes, that bird.. if you're correct about that then thanks but if it IS in fact the emulator or *cough* the game then that's a problem but I'll try and see if that's true for now and try to look at the glass half full... thanks
I'm guessing it's not the emulator since I was able to spray the bird and get the star. In the video link and my save file, the rocket and turbo nozzles are unlocked. So at the very least at that point in the story you can access the bird
