I was about to make a post saying Vulkan was seriouly broken on Intel because it was showing corrupted textures, look: https://imgur.com/a/M2BIYZF. After taking a look at the settings I noticed "GPU texture decoding" was enabled. When I disabled it, everything started to work fine. I also noticed when I hover the cursor over the option it says it's not supported by Vulkan.

I think that option should be removed from the settings if it doesn't work for Vulkan to avoid causing problems to the user.

Thanks!

But what about users who are using Vulkan and aren't on Intel, ala most of our Vulkan userbase?

When I hover the mouse over the option it says it's not supported by Vulkan. I'm guessing it's not supported by any other drivers too. Big Grin
That's no longer correct.
I use the Vulkan backend + GPU Texture Decoding all the time. Works pretty perfectly all the time. I don't see any message indicating that GPU Texture Decoding is not supported by Vulkan.

So no, I don't see the need to remove them. Ever since D3D12 got removed I have switched over to Vulkan. It is basically the new D3D12 for me? Performance is quite outstanding with Vulkan.

I understand... Well, does anyone know why is that option broken on Intel? (pics from my first post). Are Dolphin developers aware of the bug?

I mean, the performance is fine without it enabled, but a bug is a bug, right? Where can I send a bug report?

Thanks!

its not a bug, you are using the OnBoard internal Intel HD Graphic card which many people will say its Decent & Good..
But I'll say its a crap, also unsupported revision Drivers

Simple Example: Its like trying to use newest OpenGL Driver with old nVidia Graphic Card, No you can't the Graphic Card have Limitations.
