Hi,

I am using a Samsung galaxy s9 to play super mario galaxy with my xbox one controller. It works great, except for two things:

1. I cannot collect star bits with my IR pointer linked to my right joystick.

2. I cannot grab onto or use a pull star, which is essential to gameplay, since I cannot enter a galaxy without using a pull star.

Is there any way to fix this? Please help!

Also, as a side-note, Is there any way I can link the IR input to my touchscreen Input so I can collect star bits and spin jump with my finger? It would be very useful, since I don't always have my controller with me.

Thanks!! Big Grin

Turn off the setting Skip EFB Access from CPU. (Though this should be done for you automatically if you're using a recent development build of Dolphin and you haven't messed around with the game INIs...)

Controlling the IR input with the touchscreen is not possible in Dolphin right now, but it's in the works.

The spin jump is actually unrelated to IR, though.
Cant wait for the Ir touch screen ..my god is gonna be so much FUN!!!!!

I have Dolphin 5.0-8706, and cannot find the skip EFB access option. Which file is that option kept in? I also want to note that I did make only one modification to the game's wiimote.ini file, which was changing the vertical IR range so that I could reach the bottom of the screen with my right joystick. Is there anything else I can do?

Also, on an unrelated topic, my super mario sunshine game experiences significant lag, when i know that my phone can run wii games just fine. Is there a general problem with emulating that specific game?

You can see the changes I made to the ini file on my other thread.

I´m pretty sure you won´t say the same about SMG after disabling Skip EFB Access from CPU.

As for SMS, that game requires PerfQueries (enabled by default), EFB Copies to Texture+RAM (disable Copies to Texture Only) and yes... Skip EFB Access from CPU (disabled). These make the game somewhat demanding.

I have the latest version of dolphin and don't have access to the skip EFB access option in the menu. I am trying to change it manually. Which file has the setting I need to change?
Skip EFB Access from CPU is the first setting in Graphics > Hacks.

If turning it off doesn't help, chances are that EFB access just is broken on your graphics drivers.
