In my opinion:

the Android fork must be separated from the master.

Run with it, but separate from it.

We have witnessed and are witnessing various problems, which are not strictly dependent on the fork, but from the master, which I emphasize, is a generic Android version. (with its bugs)

Dolphin Desktop is fine on the desktop, Dolphin Mobile, Must be fine on Mobile.

Like the CISC registers, they are not those of a RISC.

And not always, running together with the master, is a winning choice.

Personally, I prefer to have an older, but stable, better optimized, supported and bug-free build.

PS: the version ISHIIRUKA for Desktop, is another example of Optimization and Geniality.

It is the master who followed the fork, not the other way around.

And today, still alive and well: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-ishiiruka-dolphin-custom-version
I fail to see how reverting game.ini support would result in a more stable, less buggy experience. In reality, this fork advocates for the same thing as Ishurika: making it so sh*t hardware can still run the “latest” version of dolphin. Removing features is not optimization, it’s a compromise. DX9, async audio, hell I bet they still have 32bit JIT in there. None of that is better, just stuff that was removed because dolphin’s future development isn’t predicated on supporting the least common dominator.

TLBig GrinR this fork is good for the actual improvements to android specific stuff but really bad in the way it apes Ishurika.
I can finaly play mariokart double dash whithout lag i use to have whith dolphin emu and dolphin libretro.
Just thank you

Compromises are the best means to improve, improve and help and help each other.

And make everyone happy.

Otherwise there would be no evolution.

Look at nature, once in a while.

@Revenant Ghost,

Nothing is perfect, who thinks it's just stupid.

There is not only the Android user, there is also the iOS user, the Windows user, the MAC user, the Linux / Unix user.

Yes, of course, open source is good, but it should be written and programmed with machines and software, just like OpenSource.

But there is a compromise for this too.

Quite right?

Otherwise we have to throw everything away and buy only the consoles. (as long as they still exist in the near future)
What you are saying is not coherent.

If you go beyond words and stupid precision / dazzling speed, you will read a lot of coherence instead.

To the end user, he does not matter if it is more precise or faster.

Instead, for the end user, he cares that everything works fine.

Precision, if by that you mean emulation accuracy, means whether things work fine, if by that you mean the game runs correctly. I don't think you can “look beyond” that.
Build 9178 doesn't install over the other builds.
