Hi im playing Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PAL version) on the latest dolphin build as of now (5.0-8830)
and the sound is really really bad and just makes it unplayable

but if I play the same game on the stable 5.0 release the sound is fine

any ideas what's up? Is there some audio setting I can change maybe?

There is currently no way to solve this other than using an older version of Dolphin.
MY audio is cutting on every single moment/scene of the game. All dolphin versions all beckend/all audios, even in ishirika is displaying the same behavior, what would it be?
It's a problem in Dolphin. Nothing you can do other than using an older version.
In this case it's because your CPU is terrible for emulation in general, regardless of the version of Dolphin you use. OP was running into the overall flaw with RE3 audio despite having a proper CPU. You probably have sound issues in other games like Metroid or Xenoblade as well.

My cpu os fx8320e oc 4,3mhz it is true that my multiplier has being set back to 200x instead of 250x as I used to run, but did it intentionally in order to bypass the disable EFB / DUal Corre artifacts when using scaling textures on ishirika.
  I was able to play re3 normally back win 7.
 I wondering is because I set my memory speeds manually and northbridge well bellow 2500X. 
 The audio is clear, then absolute cut, then clear, then cut, periodically and stable. VSP always 60 if not frozen for a few milisecunds,

 I felt that OC would fix it, just wondering if there was no other way around first, feels like 4,3 on my current voltage is somewhat like prime numbers, the cpu give little jumps as if it skipps calculations or lack of power.
 My h60 broke after 5 years and my temperatures are well above normal, therefore oc with 1.4v.

 If that solve the problem I will report back.

Unfortunetlly is happening on ishiruka 777(stable)
Dolphin does not worx to perfectlly filter the forced filtering, XbrZ is required along with 10:9 so I can aplly AR Codes to not mess up the widescreen hack "displacement", but with the sound breaking like that is impossible.

Being reading about Uber, altough I feel that on porst like RE3/2 those do not help correct?
Managed to solve.
Sometimes hacking skills are more usefull then programing skills, gives you a more analitic mind.

The solution for this is prety simple. First I extracted the iso of the game and studied some of the would do with notpad, somewhat it was stating pal60 on a ntsc game?
Then I wondered a little edite a few thing runned the game from inside out the folder (at the point a terrible beep sound started). But the sound alone was enough to remind me back the build of for Resident evil zero GC.

And Ishirika saved the day with version 777.
It has a built in hack for resident 2/3 and also has the backends and a few discret options as force the console as ntsc. Added a AR code for true 60fps (believing that could be the case of so much frame droping algong with sound) What if the video and audio on those games are d-synch or something?

In resume, a lot of sorcerry on the multiplier and ishirika 777 gives you the best result, now I can force textures and XbrZ covers the boxes.

Explained the whole thing in order to be clear for the developers.
That hack is a must. (Fx-8320e no OC so far) Exclusive uber, and all the rest on top.
Texture still on the middle and 60fps still, only when barrel explode or things like that.
R9 20x
