Hey.

I'm planning on building a new PC soon, so I can actually use it for more than an hour without it backing up. These are the specs:

Core i5-8600K overclocked to 4.5GHz
ASUS Prime Z370-A ATX
16GB of G.Skill Trident DDR4-3000 CAS 16
240GB SSD, 1TB HDD
Immediately, Intel UHD 630, but eventually a GTX 1070 Ti or an 1170

Is there anything much that would optimize this build for Dolphin?
There is nothing that won't play at full speed in 4K resolutions.
Forgot to put in what kind of games I'll play Tongue

Mostly, I'll play Trauma Center: Second Opinion and Trauma Team, but I'll try some demanding games like Super Mario Galaxy 2 here and there.

I also wish to play mainly 1080p. 1440 is a bonus, but not necessary by any means.
Those games at 1080p with the 1070? Yes. With the UHD 600? No.
Right, I didn't notice that you weren't getting a real GPU right away.

It should play everything at full speed at 720p or 1080p until you get a proper GPU, then 4K won't be an issdue.
