Snapdragon only? And leave out the Tegra X1? Wink

We haven't put any artificial limitations on which devices can access the Google Play version. If you can install an APK from https://dolphin-emu.org/download/, you should be able to install Dolphin from Google Play. So the only difficult requirement is that you need a device with 64-bit userspace.

Doesn’t appear to be the case, installs on my mediatek device.

I forgot about NVIDIA. I thought it was limited because of the "complainers" with crappy specs or/and buggy drivers.
It will install on anything that exposes the required minimum (aarch64, gles3) - there's no whitelist/blacklist. They're a pain to manage, especially as the tools are limited (I believe you'll have to whitelist each device, not on a soc like "all snapdragon 835+" or similar.

So it will install on stuff that won't run many games well, but that's probably not so bad - it's free, at worst they've wasted a few mb of data downloaded - better than the alternative of 'accidently' blocking devices, the cost of keeping the lists up to date, and wildly varying levels of playability between each game (e.g. if we said "To be whitelisted, you need to be able to run RS2 at full speed" zero devices would be allowed). Plus it's often driver specific - so updates can often change stuff - for example if you actually got a PowerVR device with a halfway-recent driver they'll probably work pretty well. But they seem pretty impossible to find.

So I fully expect the reviews to be flooded with "I installed it on my $(crappy phone) and it's too slow! 0 stars!" but that's fine.
Oh boy, as far as I know many of the dev's (and other users) are already frustrated with the plain demands and dumb questions on the android forums. So now it's released again on the play store get ready for even more frustrating topics!
Yeah well, it's also entertainment too. Take the bad with the good.
Also, I can lock threads now and I'm quite good at it.

No... It's the exact same as the builds online.

It is possible to block certain devices from downloading the app from Google Play even though the APK doesn't block those devices from installing it. (This isn't the case with Dolphin, though.) So that the APK is the same doesn't have to mean that the devices that can install it are the same.

Also, there is actually one minor difference between the builds on this website and the Google Play builds: They are signed with different keys. Other than that, they should behave identically.

Hey don't look at it in such a negative light. All you need is a few hours of spare time and some popcorn. (The popcorn is mandatory)! And just sit back and relax... As you watch the Dolphin forums get flooded with noobs who probably don't even know what OpenGL or Vulkan is.
