I'm using the Nvidia Shield TV to run dolphin and found a bug within.

If you highlight a iso and hold the "A" button a menu pops up to allow you to change the settings for that specific game. Any changes you set doesn't effect anything, but the settings do save. My guess is that dolphin isn't using the INI file for that specific game upon loading it.

I would also suggest to add "Custom controls" as another menu option per game as well, because we are limited to the amount of buttons on an emulated gamepad (Example: Nvidia Shield Gamepad, Xbox One S, PS4 gamepad, etc)
As far as I know, the problem is that the Android code for creating the game-specific INIs uses the wrong section/setting names for at least most of the settings.

Okay. So it should be an easy fix you think?

Not too hard, but since this is the Android version of Dolphin we're talking about, there's no telling when anyone actually is going to fix it.

Can you help me with testing if possible? here is a build that I think should solve the problem

I ran into this myself as well this weekend and was just searching the issue tracker, then came across this thread.
Just tried out the build, and looks like it's working correctly.  [Settings] is now properly set to [Video_Settings] and [Hacks] is properly set to [Video_Hacks]
Cheers

Sorry for the late reply. I will be glad to test it. I'm gonna try this now.

It seems like it's working correctly now thank you! Though..

I have no emulated gamepad support until this goes through: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-nvidia-shield-android-8-0-mapping-shield-controller-issues?pid=475851#pid475851

Any chance to add "Wii Input" for Wii games and "Gamecube Input" to Gamecube games in the menu?
So does this fix mean you could natively disable fixes on android for Wind Waker Pictobox for example?

Yes. You've actually been able to do so all along, but you had to edit the INI files manually until now.
