Demo Disc v2:

Pikmin's crash and video stutter/freeze only apparent in the US version of the disc.

EU would get 4 stars.
US would get 3 stars.

How should we go about that?

Given that it's just the one demo that crashes, we can probably get away with a 4 star rating. We generally should be rating per the lowest compatibility across regions (but that typically doesn't happen due to limited cross-region testing).

Glad this awful mess is finally getting looked into.

My personal opinion would be to split every demo disc regardless of their similarity in Game ID. Having them all jumbled up like this is awful.

Big Grin  This is truly awful. I generally agree in splitting them up no matter what, because it's such a special case. The problem is that the 35 American demo discs are polluting the Gamecube page anyway. We would need to add 19 EU discs 4 AU discs (of which just 1 is "well known") and LOTS of more Japanese discs of which a minimum of 30 are without information at all, other than the fact that they do exist. Estimations go to 50 to 60 JP demo discs  Confused Confused Confused . Imagine the work and how the Gamecube wiki would look like  Sad . Next to no progress is being made on the matter right now and that because of very good reasons: more than 100 discs of which just a few are known of in some capacity. Having that said, there should be another solution. A separate wiki page the discs are being ordered in or something like that.
This seems to be a topic for years now and I'm just glad I could bring a bit of light into the darkness. Thank you for the post and for expressing your opinion @PPLToast!  Smile
