Hello,
I've recently bought the Galaxy A6 Plus with the Snapdragon 450. Before I bought it, I didn't knew that Dolphin was available on Android.
Now I was thinking about getting a more powerful phone like a Galaxy S8 plus (Exynos) or something smiliar.
I've heard that the Exynos is not the best supported processor, but also read that newer graphics driver should perform better.
My Question is: What is the 'best' smartphone for the best Dolphin performance.
I mostly looking for Mario (Sunshine, Galaxy etc) Games.

I wouldn’t bother buying a new phone just for dolphin. If the galaxy A6 was enough phone for you, then save your money. None of these flagship phones are going to run dolphin well enough to justify an entire purchase just for that.

Really? That's very disappointing to hear. I was under the impression that at least a couple of specific phones could run Dolphin good enough.
At the moment I can still return my Galaxy A6 Plus so if there's a phone that would run it better, now is still the time for me to return my phone and get a new one.
Overall I'm happy with the phone though. The good thing about the 'slow' Snapdragon 450 is the great battery life compared to other flagship phones.

Thanks, but I'm really more into looking for a phone and not another device to carry around. That's the whole point for dolphin on Android for me.

The PGS is likely vaporware at best, or a cynical scam at worst.
They've been cycling around kickstarter and stuff for years now, making crazy promises and seeming to lack the technical knowledge required to actually get an "ok" device out the door, let alone the game-changing magical future tech they seem to be promising.
Plus that's an Intel atom - they're a different architecture to most of the desktop/laptop Intel CPUs, and not really any faster than the big ARM cpu cores.

And I have no idea what you mean by "as an Intel processor and a mediatek" - are you saying they're now promising devices with 2 SoCs? Absolute nonsense - there's no technical benefit. (Especially as Dolphin can run on Android using the x86 instruction set too).

I read through that article and it just seems like a redundant GPD Win 2 with a FHD display and Core M3 option. No mention of dual boot or dual processor. Seems like they are just another one of those OTG handheld windows devices I keep seeing

I've got a Sony xz2 and loads of games including Mario sunshine work brilliantly I don't use it as a phone just for dolphin, the best would probably be Xiaomi black shark though

I bought Note 8 Snapdragon Just for Dolphin and it works almost flawsly.

If you want dolphin to work buy a Snapdragon 835 / 845 Phone, One Plus 5/One Plus 6 has Snapdragon ONLY processor pretty good phones
but DO NOT Buy Exynos Phone ever. If you like S8 And S8+ Snapdragon variants you may buy them used if they aren't available in your countries. ARM Drivers are getting worse in each update.
