FYI: You don't need to be signed in.
Just switch to the commits tab, click the green checkmark / red cross next to last commit and you'll get the list you just described. Then it's basically the same process.
Ah! I didn't think to click on the checkmark. Now I know
The "Enable Controller Input" checkbox works, and default Wiimote orientation values are restored. Anything else from me at this point is essentially personal preference (windows always initializing to defaults/current controller state rather than remembering state of previously open windows in the same session; controller input enabled by default).
Qt is just an enormous waste of screen real estate, has default padding on every element it seems like, is an absolute pain trying to work with it not-full-screen.

Would be nice to have a toggle like Discord, Cozy vs Compact, would love a compact mode but I know some people like it the way it is.
Just registered a forum account to voice my opinions about Qt vs wx. I seldom update Dolphin so I only just found out that wx had (finally) been removed.
1) Size. On the last build with wx:
QtPlugins + Dolphin.exe + Qt5Core.dll + Qt5Gui.dll + Qt5Widgets.dll = 32.0MB (33632256 bytes)
DolphinWx.exe = 17.4MB (18312704 bytes)
The Qt components are almost double the size of the wx exe.
2) Startup time. The wx GUI starts up almost instantly, while I have to wait several seconds for the Qt GUI to start up.
3) Unwanted DPI scaling (?). My screen resolution is 1920x1080 and I don't have DPI scaling turned on. While the wx version looks normal, the Qt version has all UI elements slightly larger than normal. It looks like DPI scaling is applied, but I can't really be sure.
there are two key menu activity's that the new Dolphin GUI has left regarding netplay
back in Dolphin 5.0 wile you were netplaying, you could netplay with up to 2 people and
then one person crashes and the other was able to save state and then do a
in game save so that all progress was not lost.
the new update force closes everyone's game window making so that you can't save your
progress regardless of what dolphin setting you have in "Interface > Confirm on Stop"
for the 2nd thing in Dolphin 5.0 when your netplaying at all you could change your controller
input settings when set on a "Standard Controller > GameCube controller"
in the new update it forces you to not even be able to change that anymore during a netplay game
forcing all players to restart when there controller is not setup correctly.
I would Love to see you guys fix this so that I can netplay on the new dolphin like I used to
before with friends on old Dolphin 5.0
P.S. Without these issues being fixed dolphin has taken a few steps backwards
While we appreciate the feedback, please be aware of our rules regarding necroposting. This thread is almost a year and a half old. It's preferable to make a new thread (in your case, specifically about netplay changes since 5.0).
Stickied topics are exempt from the necroposting rule. I don't see a problem with posting in this topic.
Sticky? What sticky.

Fair enough

I guess I'll lock this again then.
