Yes, I use a Mayflash GameCube controller adapter. It comes with a driver I need to install to use it.

Could you please try removing the driver and see if you still have problems with dolphin? (Also see if there's an updated driver)
Note: If this does turn out to be the problem, we can try to fix it in dolphin (so you can keep using it)...just need more info first.
Yeah, and I actually think that removing Wx would help get issues like these sorted out - no one has reported anything like this (likely because users can stick to Wx?) meaning that we don't know about the issue.

So I tried it out, and I think that might be it. I didn't do extensive testing so I don't know if it's just a matter of unplugging the controller or uninstalling the driver altogether, but I did both and everything was fixed.
NOTE: the resizing issues are fixed as of Dolphin 5.0-8251.

Should issues persist try deleting Qt.ini in your User/Config folder before filing bug reports!
Only the title column can be properly resized. The maker columns still resizes in reverse and the other columns can't be resized at all.

And yes, I removed the Qt.ini config file.

The following columns can be resized: Title, Description, Maker, File Name. The others are not intended to be resized.

In some cases, if you have a resizable column as the last one and try to resize it from the right side, you'll effectively get "reverse" resize - this is just the layout adjusting to keep all columns in view (working as intended).

Ahh I see.

It is annoying that if I disable a column (for example description) it is not completely hidden, there is still a column with a length of roughly a half millimeter (in this case between title and maker) in complete white. The rows are alternating between white and gray, so it does not looks particular clean if the "disabled" columns shows on every row in white, even on the gray rows. I rather had it completely hidden, there is no point in hiding it otherwise. Then again, it could be just me doing something wrong as usual.

Is there any reason why we as an user should not be able to customize the width of every column? Just wondering why it wouldn't work for Qt, since that was not an issue with Wx.

Those are not big issues, I still prefer Qt currently above Wx, but those are my honest opinions on what Qt could be improved upon. No big deal through.

I think hiding description is the only one which has that issue? I hadn't noticed it before, maybe spycrab knows why it happens.

Interslice

The memory card manager is still more functional in Wx. The entire B slot is disabled in Qt which can make moving saves between .raw files annoying.
