Hey guys, So im having this huge issue that I cant seem to figure out, and I havent been able to find a forum that helps me with my exact version of Dolphin.
When i boot up games, such as Super Smash Bros Melee, Spongebob, Lights, Camera, Pants, or even Mario Party 7, the games will start off with between 30 and 60 FPS and then instantly junp down to 10 FPS, and then the audio gets super choppy. I have tried messing with a lot of settings but I have no idea what settings i need to mess with for this to work. Attached are 12 photos of all my different settings.
PLEASE someone help me. Thankyou!
I am adding to this thread that EVERY game in my list has this same issue. It will start off by jumping to 50-60 FPS and then they ALL decrease down to 10 or less FPS.
But yesterday all of my games were running perfectly. I do not know what has changed since yesterday.
Is your computer plugged in/in high performance mode?

Is LLE needed anymore? Use HLE instead.
Also, you´re making Dolphin needlessly more demanding (400% CPU overclock? What?)
Cheats could also be causing issues, so disable them. Likewise with "Dump textures".

I will test and see if the games run differently with HLE.
and Yeah, Ive been messing with all settings to see if any of them help. one source said that overclocking to the max would help but i noticed that didnt do a lick of good besides speed the game heavily with the same frame rate issues. so the overclock was disabled after testing.

So with the HLE, the intro to Smash was perfect, and everything was perfect until i got into a battle. then my Frame rate dropped to 25 and under. barely getting to 30 fps
the same thing happened to Spongebob lights camera pants, where the intro was at 30 FPS (which was normal i beleive) and then dropped to 8 FPS
Mario Party 7 has the same issue.
I assume all the games i try will have this issue since ive tried three games already

I have now disabled cheats and got rid of the dump textures, so i will see how the games run with this in addition to the HLE settings
Will come back with my findings
Try creating a High Performance profile using the NVidia Control Panel. I have suspicions that Dolphin is not using your NVidia GPU.

Alright!!!! so yeah it must have been a combo of the LLE/cheats/dump textures
Every game i have seems to be running at the proper Frame Rates.
Hopefully with extended game play they continue to work properly
thankyou sooo much for your help DJBarry
