now this may be because i overlooked something buut
my mouse controls the 3d scene on games when I move it. is there a way to stop it?
Turn off Graphics > Advanced > Free Look.
Alternatively, if you'd like to still have the ability to use free look, you could map it to something other than your mouse using the hotkey settings.
