Ok, I’m new to the forum, so be warned I might do something wrong. My laptop specs are
CPU: Intel Celeron N2840
GPU: Intel Hd Graphics for Intel Atom Z3700
Ram: 8 GB DDR3 (1 stick)

I want to see if I can run Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. I am using Ishiiruka Dolphin [Stable] 777 (2d11f5fb1). I can already run SMS at about 17 fps. I would like to know if I can run the other 2 and if I can what are the best settings (SMS included).
You should try latest dev build, that branch is not officially supported. And well, both SMG titles are very demanding and your CPU will probably not fare well with them.

EDIT: Yup, your CPU is beyond weak. You need better hardware.

Thank you for your help, I’m planning on getting a desktop pc with a Ryzen 2200g (Vega 8 graphics) 8 Gb DDR4 and 3000 MHz ram.

Instead of buying 1x8GB sticks, you might want to buy 2x4GB, 2x8GB, etc. to take advantage of dual-channel and have better performance.

I wanna try and make the desktop futureproof so I can add another 8 gig stick later.

Then get a mainboard with 4 DIMM slots instead of 2, You will see a HUGE difference between 2x4GB and 1x8GB, basically you are limiting your throughput to 64bit (8kb) per clockcycle (=8k*3000000000Hz=22,9GB/s) instead of 128bit (16kb) per clockcycle (=16k*3000000000hz=45,8GB/s) and if you are using the iGPU (Vega 8) that really limits your total RAM bandwidth, the difference in PC native games and applications can go as high as 30-40% (but as Dolphin isn't really demanding on the GPU it will be 5-10% at most?)

Thanks! I’ll think about that.

I think you shouldn't think twice and just go for 2x4 Smile Wink
