Essentially Dolphin crashes after 1 second of selecting Wii u adapter in the drop down menu of controller configuration. However dolphin 4 works just fine. Obviously though, 5 is superior and has better sound and more graphics options. I have been waiting for months to get the adapter and a controller to play Pikmin 2 with, but alas.

If anyone has any fixes please help out, much appreciated. I will post any info needed if asked.

By launching dolphin with compatibility for windows 7 and starting it as an administrator I have resolved the problem.
