Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

So I recently got Dolphin emulator and a ROM of Shrek Super Slam (For shit's and giggles) and Melee. I looked at Youtube tutorials on how to extract files for use in Dolphin but whenever I try to launch the game it never loads and always ends up crashing the emulator. I've redownloaded and re-extracted the files multiple times but I always seem to get nowhere with it. I'm wondering if my issue has something to do with my computer (Check my specs), the emulator, the ROM's I have, or the way I'm extracting it (I use WinRAR to extract my files) If anyone could help me or post a complete guide on proper extraction for emulation that would be a great help. Thank you.

Dolphin dev builds are a standard .7z file, open it up and drag the Dolphin-x86 folder to your desktop or anywhere and run Dolphin.exe inside.
And keep your games as a .iso or .gcz, no need to unpack those
