Hi,
Recently i started playing GH and RB games with real guitar and drums, everything´s ok with it, until i bought a logitech RB original mic and im trying to play with it using the USB Passthrough of dolphin, but games always crash after a while and they are really laggy when passtrough is activated and usbdk runtime libraries installed.
So the question is: Have anyone solved de crashing thing with logitech mic in Windows 10 Pro Ver. 1803 and maybe the laggy thing too?
Or maybe an advice can help!!!
And THANKS a lot btw.
PD: Sorry about my english
This is known to be problematic on Windows (but not on Linux).

Hi, thanks for the help, I've used Ubuntu 18.04 and now the emulator won't crash but the performance is very low when USB pass through is enabled with the mic, very noticeable with guitar hero games. Why could this be happening

Core 2 Quad Q9650 @3Ghz > There is your problem... Your CPU will be 10 years old this year it is simply too slow to keep up...

Your system is very unbalanced btw... using a GTX1050ti in that machine, you'll probably get the same performance if you would've used a GTX750 or the likes, your CPU just can't even keep up with the GPU.

I understand your point, and almost everybody has the same conclusion, but I've played a lot of games with full speed with that specs, and other applications like Cemu Wiiu Emulator runs with full speed too in games like botw and mk8, so I think that it can be an optimization issue, I hope that maybe it can be solved in future releases.
You cannot compare emulators of different consoles. Especially emulators of consoles that have lots of things they can HLE.
It's very unlikely that there will be significant speed improvements to the x86_64 JIT in the future. It's incredibly mature and squeezing water from a stone sucks.
If anything, Dolphin might get slower if our pursuit for emulation accuracy comes at the cost of speed.

Ok, I don't know so much about how dolphin works, but it's possible that usbdk libraries have something to do with that laggy effect with USB passthrough? I've noticed that if I change the CPU speed in advanced options in dolphin to 40% of speed, the games works smoothly but the emulator crashes even using Ubuntu. And a last question. Do you think it's possible that in a future release, the USB passthrough feature will do well with USB Logitech mic in Windows 10 (no crashes) or it depends only in usbdk development improvements.
Thanks btw
It's possible that USB passthrough could improve in the future. There's lots of rough edges with it on Windows, but a lot of them would be solved if usbdk could solve the issues we have with it. I wouldn't expect this to be improved any time soon.

I stopped reading and believing you when you said BotW runs full speed on that computer. Unless you haven't gone any further than the menu screen it's utter bullshit because people with a 4th gen i5 and a 1080ti aren't even able to keep a full 30FPS when they have overclocked their CPU to the brink of breaking.
My Kaby Lake Pentium with GTX780 can run BotW at a very fluctuating 15-45FPS with all the optimizations running at default 720p resolution (1080p is also the same but I don't want you to get any more fuel to make bullshit claims)...
Basically what you are saying is that your 10 year old Core2Quad is faster than any recent i5... If that would be true then Intel should've just stopped there.
Stop picking fights with everybody.
