Is there any way I can stop the game from slowing down and sometimes reaching the point of "overflowing"?
Using Single Core or SyncGPU should prevent the overflow.
Just letting everyone know, I'm using Dolphin 5.0-6589 on both of my computers.

So, that would be disable Dual Core and whatever that "SyncGPU" thing is?
Disable dual core which is located in config or enable syncgpu which is located in game properties

I disabled Dual Core, and SyncGPU was already enabled. Hopefully that helps.

Wait, is Dual Core in Config the same as Dual Core in a game's properties?
They're the same.

Ok.
I loaded my save state, and there's some slowdown (going down to around 11 FPS (my save state is at the beginning of Mission 3 (I got the bounty and feather, then died and used a continue so I would start back on the platform above.))
