It is done. It is just about upstreaming the changes to the master branch, such that everyone can build an Win32 64 bit version for ARM from latest sources.

I can tell that it is running awesome on the Surface Pro X - thats with integrated GPU and 7W TDP at SoC level - the device stays totally cool when running Dolphin.

I assume you meant "Windows ARM64 build of Dolphin". We have had an ARM64 (specifically AArch64) JIT for many years now, it just didn't work on Windows ARM.

Yeah, but when we will able to download the ARM64 build for WOA on the dolphin site? That's what I mean. It's only x64, Mac or Android right now.

@Gerdya that's good news, but I doubt everyone could compile it for ARM, you would need some programming knowledge. So it would be nice if you talented guys could give us non-programmers an ARM64 build.

Overhaul

Yeah I'm waiting for arm64 build as well. Got a surface pro X and thought it was awesome till I found out about arm64 and its limitations. Trying to find windows arm64 gaming emulators is tough..
There might have been an update in the last weeks. There is a good chance that this will be covered in the next progress report, so just wait for a few days Wink

Overhaul

Great news. I’m really looking forward to it.
