Having issues with Xbox One S Controller trying to play GameCube games, I can not map the toggle sticks or the d-pad correctly it seems to not register properly when I try to bind.

Device: Nvida Sheild TV 2017
Build: 5.0-6354

Seems to map same input throughout all buttons, even d-pad registers as Axis 32+ even though I am pressing the appropriate d-pad buttons.

Any ideas on why this is happening ?
I had this happen with the 2017 Shield Controller. It was connecting funny so I rebooted and it fixed it.

I tried re paring the controller and rebooting the shield and still getting same result.

The controller is fine navigating the UI of the shield with d-pad and the analogue sticks it also navigates fine with the menus of Dolphin but as soon a I launch a game I'm losing all directional buttons.

A,X,Y,B,Select,Start all work though.

Is this a known bug ? Or am I doing something wrong ?

Controllers has been plugged into laptop and checked for latest firmware update via the XBOX accessories APP. I have also plugged it into my XBOX One and checked firmware update.
Issue is identical when using the same controller paired with my Samsung Galaxy S8.

I have tried the last 3 dev builds on both devices.
Any update on this issue ?

Has anybody managed to get controller working ?

Make sure your controller firmware is updated to the latest version I have heard that should solve the issue

Very first thing I done but issue still persists. I checked via the XBOX accessories app with Windows 10 on the Creators update and it tells me my controller is up to date.

I also plugged it into my XBOX One console and via that have confirmed the controller is up to date.
Seems I have found a version that is letting me bind directional inputs without making everything Axis 32+

Version
5.0-5681
https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/774fca4d019b788089f4a0d456e9c0ee12d9e214/

This build is letting me bind as shown in the following pictures

[Image: ogc0fsD.png][Image: zPvjVYU.png]This has allowed me to navigate the menu of Lugis Mansion with both the directional pads and the Left analogue stick how ever once in game Luigi seems to only be able to run left and right it seems to locked as I his legs are continuously moving.

I can though fully move his torch around with the Right analogue stick.
5.0-5684 < This build is where you lose directional inputs and only get 32+ Axis

5.0-5681 < Directional inputs seem to register here but having issues with locked directions

Here is a video of build 5.0-5681 being idle without touching controller  ( Intial menu screen functions fine and seems the no direction is locked )

Bug has been reported here https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/10909

but not sure how to update to include that a build does exist where you can at least bind directional inputs
I solved the problem.

After many attempts, this worked for me.

1. Uninstall Dolphin apk from your device.
2. Delete folder "dolphin-emu" from the storage.
3. Install the last working build "dolphin-master-5.0-5681.apk" (that has no axis35+ bug)
4. Start Dolphin
5. Choose "Wii input" then "Wii Remote 1 Controller" then choose "Extension", click on Classic Controller
6. Now map every key and axis
7. Save this
8. Close Dolphin app
9. Uninstall Dolphin app
10. Delete "Dolphin-emu" folder
11. Download latest "Dolphin build"
12. Install
13. Start Dolphin
14. Choose "Wii input" and disable every "Wii Remote Controller", except of "Wii Remote 1 Controller", then choose the "Wii Remote 1 Controller" and choose "Extension" Classic Controller
15. Map your keys and axis

--> and simsalabim, now you can map your axis in the latest build, without axis35+ bug.

I tested it with Luigi's Mansion. For that, I repeated step 14-15 with the "GameCube controller input"

This worked for me, can you confirm this?
My Xbox One S Controller was constantly connected through Bluetooth to my smartphone, during step 1 to 15.
