Well... like I said, when I try to play Wii games the screen goes black and Dolphin immediately crashes.

Sometimes that's due to Dolphin not having access to where it wants to save? Maybe you should try a portable build by adding portable.txt to the folder you have the exe in.

That finally solved it! The games now launch normally like they did before and they even show their thumbnails again. Thanks for the help!

I have this same problem but what folder are you talking about exactly? I know how to get to dolphins folder that has things like the cache, config, and game settings, but i dont know which one you edited and put portable.txt on.
