I'm having an issue with monster hunter 3, when i'm not touching the controller my character moves in a direction as if the sticks default position was in that direction.

I've checked in my controller settings, and this is not a controller issue. On other savestates of the game i don't get this issue, and the controller is not giving any inputs to the game. if i push in the opposite direction of my characters movement, they stop and stay still until i release again. It happened after the game window suddenly went from fullscreen to windowed without reason, after which this started happening.

Unfortunately i did not make a save close enough so going back to an older save is not an option.

Please help!

Try setting the controller to none and then back to standard ingame.
