Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi, I wanted to see if anybody knew anything about this. I just swapped from my 1080p monitor to a new 4k one and dolphin is slow.

If I switch the desktop resolution back to 1920x1080 dolphin works like a charm, but in 3840x2160 every game runs slow. I have changed every setting I can think of to speed it up but nothing works.

Do I have to change my desktop resolution back to 1920x1080 every time I play dolphin?

What is your internal resolution set to in Graphics > Enhancements

I had it set to 3840x2160, then to 1920x1080 even all the way down to 640x528 and all the resolutions ran the same speed.

I figured it out. When I had my desktop set to 3840x2160 I only had it at 30hz. When I changed it to 60hz then everything went faster.
