All,

Done some digging about while I was supposed to be working.

Have not been able to get my dump to work, whatever settings I use I get the 003 error.

However:-

I was having a play with NUSD and found if you use the 4.2K sys menu Dolphin WILL boot. The other 4.2 regions I tried gave the same 003 error.

Previous versions of the system menu seemed to work with any region, only 4.2 is limited to (K).

Tried this on SVN 4525 and 4603?

Hope this helps guys.
I'm having this issue too, on a feshly dumped NAND. I *knew* I shouldn't have upgraded my system menu. Alas!

Anyway, does Dolphin even set the region in a config file? If so, where does it set it? If not, what does it return if a game (or in this case, the Wii OS) wants to check it? If that's really all that's going on with this error, it seems like it would be somewhat of a simple fix, especially if it's just a matter of us users modifying a config file somewhere in the emulated NAND folder.

When copying my NAND dump to Dolphin, I'm usually careful not to copy over the files that are already there, since I know that they set up things like the wiimote for emulation. However, if any of those files are related to the region setting, could it possibly be part of the problem? Copying over these files simply causes the expected wiimote desync errors when starting up the menu, and doesn't make the error go away. (That said, it *does* make the error message show up in 16:9, which my real Wii is set to)

So can we still not emulate the 4.2 system menu ?

I searched and still couldn't see any possitive results Sad
