best item is a mining cart in botw, because i can fly with it
because the regular video tag is not a thing, here is a link
http://upload.dacotaco.com/Zelda_BOTW_I_BELIEVE_I_CAN_FLY.mp4
on a more serious note, i probably couldnt think of the best item imo. every zelda has a cool one. being it the bug catching net, the boots, or ANY of the usable-as-weapons-but-actually-just-items in botw

why would they? they keep telling us they want to see how we play zelda, and how we tackle certain things.
i doubt they would patch things like this. its not like it exploits anything.
just fun to do xD
Twilight Princess mainly because of the version of the hookshot in this game is the best as it's my favorite zelda item of all time.
I liked its ability to adjust its position on ceilings, really added a lot of depth to it when the double clawshots were obtained. Skyward Sword's version ruined it by removing that and the whip overshadowed it IMO.

What was possible at the E3 2016 demo that indeed was patched in the final game since day one was the ability of using the Magnesis rune to control a metal object the player is currently stepping in (e.g. targeting a metal crate/chest/whatever right below Link's feet). On DacoTaco's video, the Magnesis rune is targeting the mine cart, and since Link isn't directly stepping at it because of the crate between the cart and Link, he basically managed to bypass the fix that Nintendo made to the original trick

its more then that. you can't use magnesis on a crate under a crate, that also cancels it like if you were standing on it. however, apparently the cart doesn't care.
and imo its good that you can't move an object you are on directly, thats just wrong on many levels. this is just a bit harder to set up and alot harder to control. let alone afaik you can't push the card forward or it starts sliding away from under the box.

this is so true. the hookshot in twilight princess was really really good.
Twilight Princess was my first Zelda game on my Wii.
Sprite Tracks was my first Zelda game on my Nintendo DS
Majora's Mask 3D was my first Zelda game on my Nintendo 3DS
Hyrule Warriors was my second Zelda game on my Nintendo 3DS
I think Twilight Princess was my favorite Zelda game on the Nintendo Wii, and Sprite Tracks was an okay Nintendo DS game, and finally Majora's Mask was my favorite Zelda game on the Nintendo 3DS.
wind waker
a link to the past
ocarina of time
the legend of zelda
twilight princess
Actually I like a link to the past more than wind waker and I guess ocarina of time is a better game (if you don't wanna knock it down from the best games ever lists) but wind waker amazed me more ( at the time coz it was newer ? maybe dunno. It was my breath of the wild) Played em both on gamecube when they came out on same disc ,and I was far more entertained by windwaker and ocarina of time was an ok experience for me.(did not own a n64 I had a playstation and a pc like a normal person) I'd say dungeons were better in oot even though the game itself felt kinda dated to me at the time.
haven't played any other zelda games and did not even finish twilight princess. I want to try minnish cap though and the other top down gc ones . They always seem far more interesting than 3d ones ( or the ds games they just look unappealing )
wind waker is overrated, twilight princess is underrated
I haven't really played a lot of Wind Waker To be honest lol. I've played Ocarina Of Time on the Nintendo 64 at a friends house in Chattanooga.
