twilight princess is stuttering on dolphin 5.0-6078
dolphin config:
Hyrule speed hack is enabled
enabled dual core
PC Specs:
i3 4010U @1.7Ghz
4GB RAM
NVIDIA 720M 2GB
1366x766 Resolution
Windows 10 1709
What are your other settings?
I would guess the CPU is bottlenecking you.
Edit: Looks like it doesn't even have turbo boost, interesting.

just the default dolphin settings
I am getting the same issue. Twice every minute or so there is a quick stutter. Maybe half a second pause every 30 seconds. Very playable but it is getting on my nerves. I have changed nearly every seting on and off except for playing with software render because that looks absolutely hideous. My pc is more than powerful enough but still gets little CPU spikes every 30 seconds. Uses 20% then suddenly a 100% spike for an instant.
OpenGL, OpenAL (also flipflop XAudio2), LLE.
CPU: i7-8700K @4.8Ghz
GPU: GTX 1060 3GB
RAM: 16GB DDR4 @3200Mhz
Tried with ubershaders on, off, and hybrid, directx11, opengl, openal, xaudio2, dual core on and off, various other config options enabled/disabled, graphic options enabled/disabled.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
I experience a little stutter when link does a spin attack on multiple enemies

If it's that regular it might be a scheduled task - a disk search indexer, or antivirus?

I have no scheduled tasks that I am aware of, and no antivirus programs installed, windows defender has also been instructed to mind its own business. I disabled indexing but the stutter persists. I actually used a stopwatch and found out why I find it so annoying. Its actually happening near-exactly every 16 seconds. Before I disabled all game-specific settings, it was happening near-exactly every 17 seconds. I will continue tinkering but any additional suggestions would be greatly recommended. Also for further info, this is the gamecube version of twilight princess, and dolphin is on a sata3 hdd, while my OS is on a ssd.
EDIT: Didn't want to double-post. I found the culprit. Regardless of the settings, tweaks, AR codes, or patches, if the Gecko Widescreen code is on to enable proper widescreen, the game stutters. I cycled on and off various other settings and codes while widescreen gecko code was disabled and none of them have any additional negative impact. If you have the same stutter problem, let me know if this works for you.
tl;dr: The widescreen gecko code/patch was causing the stutter for whatever reason. Just disable it and play in 4:3.
Do take note that the game has native intentional freezes/stutters when striking things like the tutorial scarecrow and its pumpkin head.
If the audio also acts up during the stutter, its an actual problem stutter which I can only assume is what's happening to you.
