i can, but only in free roam mode.
anyway, i did change my emu from 3356 to 3896 and the performance has gone up, haven't recieved any temporal freezes yet, sound has become better.
btw, should i change to pal version from ntsc?
i believe, there is a room to improve for my setup, so please gimme your emulator(if yours is a 32 bit one) Rolleyes
or just tell me your settings, that are not default

I've been playing Muramasa on the emulator and I've encountered an impasse at the moment. What's happening is that the game freezes during my battles (graphics & sound). Restarting the emulator and replaying the dungeon does not help as well; it freezes anywhere during the battle. This occurs during my post-game plays so I don't know if that is attributed to the problem. Is this a common problem on all games? Or just this one in particular?

Thanks for any tips.

I recently experienced this problem too. It seemed to happen when I use special attack. The emulator freezed but my computer was fine, didn't lockup what so ever.

I think it was because I used Dolphin.exe (not IL), so I switched to DolphinIL.exe, and my problem seemed to solve, as I can use special power like crazy without freezing. But I can't say DolphinIL solved my problem since I haven't finished the game yet.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, your method didn't work out for me. I've tried using DolphinIL (x86) and I still encounter the random freezes in the battles, but I now know it's because of the special attacks I use! Can you tell me any options you have to play the game? Or maybe which version of Dolphin you're using (I'm currently using 4152)? Thanks.

Let me tell you first that I can't confirm yet if the IL will fix this problem, but for me, ATM the problem seems to solve. Will update if I encounter any freeze in the game.

About my version, you can try 4255, as seen on this post.

Thanks! I've managed to find R4255 and been playing along. It seems like the emulator freezes for two of the dungeons (the Ghosts of the Battlefield & Total Pandemonium); otherwise, I can progress through to the other endings alright...
Kite ninjas are starting to drive me nuts in the white challenge rooms. The game freezes far too often with them onscreen. Anyone know a build or fix which doesn't have such an issue? I'm using Orleans x64 r4312 build currently.

Edit: As Odin above points out, it freezes during Ghosts of the Battlefield and Total Pandemonium. I'm sure it's because these two dungeons feature a nice helping of kite ninjas (as if they weren't annoying bastards).

Anyone had trouble with audio skipping in some lines?

imadori

i'm having a trouble. I'm using dolphin 4017 and just finishing Kisuke's 1st ending, but when there is a line saying "the raging blade was the source of great chaos", the game freezes. It is not freezed but the game won't continue although sound is still available. The graphic still changes but the line above won't change and i can't process. Is it my rom or dolphin error?

[edit] i also tried veriosn 4374 but no good either

I have a problem here on kisuke path (using svn 3972)
Sometimes i didn't receive any damage from enemy, it's like i'm cheating.

I don't like it.
Try to download new svn 3972, extract it and play new game, it's still same
Any body can help ?
Errr.... 3972 is too old, the newest one is 4525

Hello,
I have Pal edition of Muramasa and I've tried to apply both Japanese and American Hang-on ending Hack unsuccessfully. Does anyone succeed in saving after the end of the game (first time).
I have just tried with svn4597 but it doesn't change anything.
Thanks in advance.
