I have a good enough machine to run the game but the game drops to about 5 fps in the beginning during the tutorial dialogues, which probably means it'll more than likely do the same for majority of the dialogues.

Tried it out on SVN 4214 and a previous version (forgot which).

I believe that's the game itself slowing down, not the emulation. I.E. it'll slow down on the wii too. I tested this by displaying fps and when it got choppy, the fps was still at 60.

[edit] Actually, the game now refuses to run above 6 fps, lol. I didn't touch any settings since last time I played.

By the way, the game randomly freezes from time to time. Anyone else experience that? Thanks

I'm pretty sure the slowdown I'm talking about is different since all the videos I've seen of people running the game on Dolphin doesn't seem to have the same issue. I don't think the game itself drops to 5 fps on every dialogue.

I'm fairly new to Dolphin so I'd appreciate any help I can get...

I used my 360 controller and the game works like a charm. (although I only played for about 20 minutes)

There is no ending title hack for the US version yet, isn't?

I'm surprised how well this works on the emulator, to the point where I decided to forgo using my Wii for it. It looks crisper, runs at max FPS and I get to use a 360 pad instead of the classic controller.

The only issues I came upon so far was the carp on the title screen surrounded by a darkened polygon and it looped sound and stopped during a fight involving a kite ninja but that happened only once so far.

I would like to see a title credits patch though, since I'd rather not spend time screwing around transferring saves. Can I just use the japanese patch by renaming the .ini appropriately, or does it use a different memory address in the US version?

EDIT: Nevermind, fixed it by replaying the fight with different swords/inventory and I didn't get the crash now.

Very thankful to be able to play this so well on an emulator, but now I've run into a problem.

When fighting the Dragon boss with Kisuke, I get an error right after beating it.
It says "Write to invalid memory region (0x7c7042aa)" and crashes the game.

Here's my save right after beating the boss, it crashes seconds after for me:

If someone could load this save and then immedietly re-save after the post-boss cutscene starts, and upload it back for me, that would be sweet.

Use the 3972 Revision and you'll be able to fight the boss. He'll be missing textures during the dialogue, but it is fully playable.
Can anyone confirm to me whether vibration works with the 360 controller and (obviously) GameCube controller select in the game when it boots up?

Cause it doesn't for me. I hear this is a limitation for the GameCube controller on the Wii, is this the case?

put the following text

[OnFrame] Add memory patches to be applied every frame here.
+$<Pond Scene Hangup Hack>
0x8005B628:dword:0x48000174

into file User\GameConfig\RSFJ99.ini
and don't forget to turn on "Config->Enable Cheat" in Dolphin.

No need to modify game ISO anymore.Smile
Is there a way to rewrite this fix so you can modify RSFE7U.ini (US Version) instead?
Or does it already work as it is? Haven't tried it myself.

Where can you find RSFE7U.ini? Under Game Config folder? Can you upload your INI file for me? I can't seem to find that INI file.

Thanks !

No, it does not work.
