My life was a lie.
Preordered it on Steam when it appeared, and I am currently re-playing the whole thing.
Camera at the end of battles is still meh (turning away from where the drops could be) but drawing with a mouse feels a little better than with the Wiimote back then (except that I still suck at drawing Tongue)
Otherwise still a gorgeous game.
Honestly, I was really into the idea of buying this game at some point, but I just found out it's locked at 30fps. It's 2017, PC games should not be locked at 30fps.
Unfortunately many code from games made in 2000s relies on FPS to work well, so I guess changing this may have big impacts.

It's a rerelease of an old console game though. It was always intended to run at 30fps most likely.
Capcom actually tried to make the game run at 60 FPS, but the entire game was broken and the struggle to make it run properly was so huge that they decided to make it run 30 FPS as the original one.
Yes, but considering they were re-releasing it, they could have put in at least that much work--I'm aware that things break in FPS-based physics, but it's not like they couldn't have worked with the developers to make it work--people here reverse-engineer games with zero help from developers and still manage to make almost perfect 60fps codes--I think an official port should be able to do this as well--even if it means remaking the entire engine, it's not like they're making an entirely new game--remakes and ports are money grabs in general anyway, the least they could do is put in some effort to make it a real leap from the original.
