Okay so after countless months I came up with this build I just need to verify with someone or something before I press the button sorta speak. Can this deal be beat while retaining the build to run the most hardware demanding gamecube/wii games of all time on the Dolphin? Any response would be greatly appreciated. US if it matters

Ahh, I see what you mean about the motherboard and 8100 compatability, thank you for pointing that valid issue out.  I really appreciate the response,  MayImilae.   That definitely has me thinking now.  Any other inexpensive routes you might have off the cuff?

That build will play every game in dolphin flawlessly, just like you asked. If you want ubershaders, you can use Direct3D 11 backend and set it to hybrid.

cheers

Lawl, indeed.  my favorite part was if you have even *more* money.  Nonetheless, your responses are appreciated.  You have made this random shmoe extra super fun time happy. Thank you
I3-850 looks promising now that you mention those particular games, mainly the last story.  Just a tad hesitant cause I never had a liquid cooling rig before and it might get all over the place Smile Thanks again for the responses
I see you borrowed the build posted here minus the hard drive and Windows license: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-he...#pid458004

Therefore, my comments regarding that build apply here as well:

Power Supply: Corsair - CX (2017) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($39.99 @ Amazon)

Anyway, you might want to consider swapping the GPU for the following model which is somewhat cheaper (particularly before rebate) and is only 1.5% slower at most:
Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1050 1.40GHz 2GB Video Card ($119.99 + $10 rebate @ Newegg)

Alternatively there's a non-factory overclocked model that'd be about 5% slower at most but is only a bit cheaper than the above MSI 1050:
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1050 1.35GHz 2GB ACX 2.0 Video Card ($115.00 @ B&H)

The following RAM is the exact same 2x4GB DDR4-2133 CL15 speed for cheaper if you buy from Newegg (which has free shipping):
Memory: Crucial - 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 CL15 Memory ($84.99 @ Newegg)

Alternatively there's a 2x4GB DDR4-2400 CL16 kit that's not quite as cheap but is still cheaper than the RAM you picked:
Memory: Team - Elite Plus 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 CL16 Memory ($88.99 @ Newegg)

I don't think this will be an issue considering that you're going to be using a GPU that doesn't even need external power, but just keep in mind if you think you'll end up going all-out in the future and buying a GPU like a 1080Ti that needs an 8-pin + 6-pin or similar (however, such a high-end GPU would be expensive enough that even the cost of buying a new PSU would be a drop in the bucket comparatively to the cost of the GPU itself).
