I don't think anything but the biggest, baddest datacentre keys allow concurrent installation - I have a win7 retail key I've been rolling along with upgrades to my pc, and after the first one every time I activated on a "new" pc I had to call the automatic phone line to "press one to say this is the only installation of this key". I assume that would have de-activated any other installs of that same key.
It actually doesn't deactivate any other installs, even if you're just using it to activate Windows 10
i have a dell inspiron 1545 that sorta died that might be usable.
