Hi guys, I used the new check nand option and it told me some errors were found.

After fixing, my nsmb save was deleted, game started from beginning.

Check 00010000 folder and all saves were deleted. Probably cause they were created way before I used my real nand in dolphin and they were created with dolphin stock nand?

Not sure, but I think a warning should be put on this.
Yes, it may delete save data.

And there's a big warning popup with a complete list of everything it will delete before taking any destructive action.
Is this a language barrier thing? Is there a literacy issue? Is the popup not showing up? I don't understand how users can ignore the giant popup.
To be fair, we currently only show the title IDs for disc based games and not their names (like we do for channels) because we don't have info about the publisher code. So even though we have a giant warning, it may not be clear enough that [insert games here] will *really* be affected.

JosJuice has planned to make Dolphin show names in more cases.
Maybe we could retrieve this info from the banner file of the save?
Yeah, this is likely the approach that is going to be used.
Im not complaining guys, but didnt get any warning? It only shows your emulated nand is corrupt

It deleted all my saves, not a few. May we know why? What tries to fix? wii shop cannel will check for a nsmb save? Can we re sign the saves with the new nand key instead of deleting them? Even on the real wii you can use saves downaloded from internet without affecting shop cannel (not sure about this one)?

Select yes and you are done Not sure where the warning is.
AFAICT the warning with the titles that will be deleted appears after clicking Yes if and only if you have corrupted titles...

The problem is that the old versions of Dolphin didn't extract the game's TMD when creating a save file, and having a save file without a TMD shouldn't be possible, which leads to problems with software that tries to enumerate the different titles in the NAND. There are two solutions to the problem: Either delete the save data, or add the TMD. You can do the latter by launching the corresponding game in a recent version of Dolphin.

Yes, but the Wii Menu won't let you import a save before the TMD has been added by running the game once.

The data loss warning shows up in the same prompt if and only if there are issues that cannot be fixed without deleting data.

You don't see it this time, because now the issues can be fixed without deleting anything.
