That's because you're still running the old version. You need to get >= 5.0-5751.

Sad Is there a way to manually replace Dolphin? File by file?
I've run into that problem several times with android before but I could never identify why it happened or how to fix it.
Did it just magically resolve one day?

The problem with seeing the wrong version number has something to do with the build process, but I don't know anything more detailed than that. If you've downloaded the most recent version, you should have the most recent version even though the version number says something different.
Actually, nevermind, that wasn't the problem in this case. The APK files on dolphin-emu.org are not getting updated at all right now for some reason.
Is the site still goofed?

Likely with the ARM_shader_framebuffer_fetch, or whenever they are going to enable the EXT variant of it. Bad luck, lots of people here in the android forum just complains - but no one just copy the ARM bits from 5802 to 6141. This doesn't require much coding skills, just the motivation to contribute.
