Hi!

First of all, sorry if I have not listed all of my specs, I am new to this forum and have not fully grasped the layout of it yet. Apologies for any inconveniences...

Anyway,

I'm having a problem with Metroid Prime, specifically with the USA version of the game.

Everything was working fine, good framerate, no major graphical glitches...

But then I was about to encounter my first Metroid after about 3 hours of playtime and the game froze.

The image stays on the monitor but the audio just makes a long BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP and then stops.

I'm not sure which version of Dolphin I have because where ever I look, it just says Dolphin x86.

Any help would be appreciated, specs will be down below!

Can you post a screenshot of the Help > About window? It'll help us know what version of Dolphin you're using.

that version of Dolphin is years old. Grab the latest development revision from the official download page

I have a 32-bit computer and when I go to download it, it says x64. Can I still run it?

Your computer supports 64-bit 100%, so you should really consider an upgrade to 64-bit Windows(which should be free from what I've heard)
Any other version than the latest stable (5.0 x64) and the dev versions, aren't supported anymore.

With this windows you will also be able to use your 8GB's of ram instead of the 4GB's you are able to use right now...

Sure! I'll download the most recent type of Dolphin now. I know nothing about upgrading but one of my friends gets the whole upgrading thing so I'll see if he can upgrade it for me.

Hey! I go to download a 64-bit version of Dolphin and it says my PC can't run it. Do I stick with my current version of Dolphin? I'm not sure what to do.

You need to upgrade your version of Windows to 64bit *first*, then install a newer version of Dolphin.
It's not complaining about your computer, (or at least, not the physical hardware) it's complaining about the version of Windows you have installed.
Quick advice though, but reinstalling Windows with a 64bit version is likely to result in your files being lost, so I suggest you get everything imprtant backed up first.
