Well, you're lying. How did you manage to do the required drawings in the Goddess Walls with a gamepad? And how did you avoid the crashes from the silent realms (that were only fixed waaay later in 4.0-era)?

1) Well, for the drawing on the Goddess Wall (circle, arrows, hearts or rupees) this is the only time in Dolphin that you need to change the gyro range. It would be nice to have the possibility to put an hotkey to change the profile from another. Anyway, to finish the game you only need to draw 2 times (one on a wall to continue the game & another one on the Goddess Wall to receive a piece of heart). So, it's not a big deal to change this setting. The only thing that is almost impossible to do is to draw the triforce, because the sword always go down automaticallly.
2) For The Silent Realms, I never heard about that. For me, it was perfect from start to finish.
3) I don't care if there's people think I'm lying. I only create account to write a little review on the new 5.0 to help people that want to play this game with a gamepad or keyboard & for the hope that a generous person will add an hotkey to disabled/enabled Hide IR for this 5.0.

1. I managed to do the puzzles with blind luck and way too many tries. The drawings were the only portion of the game that gave me any real trouble. Despite how absurd it was to get past those puzzles, everything else worked just fine.
2. I first played the game using version 3.0.410 from the emuCR builds that are still readily available. I never had a crash on the silent realms on this build - I was using it on my Ryzen 5 1600X & RX 580 build. I honestly have no clue what you are talking about with these crashes.
I made an account to start commenting here, as Skyward Sword, emulated as I did on the older Dolphin Version I listed above, quickly became one of my favorite gaming experiences last year. It worked the whole way through, though with some difficulty on a couple puzzles that required quite a few retries. It is, however, entirely playable. Your attitude is unacceptable. You come across very poorly with this post, I apologize if I'm reading it wrong, but it comes across badly. I am going to confirm what Pseudo said here, as I was able to play the entire game as well. 100%.
It may not work perfectly, but those parts many people call impossible aren't. It just requires patience. And I tooled with both the super-sensitive profile and the standard profile for controls in order to figure out how best to approach them. I can't remember which one worked for me, but I figured it out, after a stupid amount of retries. Is it optimal? No. Does it ruin the experience? Hell no. I wouldn't trade the experience for the world, honestly. Again, it has quickly become one of my favorite games.
As for my configuration, I used the default DX9 on my system as OpenGL on AMD is still horrible. I didn't have any visual issues with the game, surprisingly. I had to view the history of the Skyward Sword wiki page to find the appropriate settings for the game so to avoid crashes and/or visual glitches. There were versions of 3.0 without the crashing issues, as they came in revisions literally days or weeks after the one I used. I had to check that the revision (410) was a lower version than one that caused crashed (7XX or something) so to avoid the issue. I have my completed profile and the dolphin I used zipped up on my computer still, so I can pull up those settings and whatnot if you people want to see it. Not sure how to share it on here though. The issue I ran into constantly with it was that Dolphin's HLE audio at the time did not play well with Zelda games, so certain effects had audible crackles when played and whatnot - mostly clear, if somewhat muddy due to the old audio code not coping with Zelda uCode. LLE audio was SUPER laggy, so it didn't work out well. The game required some setup, yes, but it was entirely possible on the build I used.

Skyward Sword actually uses the AX ucode, even though it's a Zelda game. But since the improved AX HLE wasn't merged until after the release of 3.5, it makes perfect sense that DSP HLE doesn't work well for you.

All I see is you and Pseudo2018-000 claiming it works, yet you haven't provided any proof of those claims other than saying it works. On the other side, I already were around those forums and the wiki when Skyward Sword was released and when JPeterson first released its unofficial builds, and with a quick search I can easily find a lot of posts and threads of different people having exactly the same issues I mentioned, there's also detailed issue reports (now closed, since the problem was fixed) of people experiencing the Silent Realm crashes I mentioned on 3.0-era builds.
TL;DR show me proof of your claims, then we talk. Meanwhile I continue not believing you (especially when there's a lot of counter evidence)...
@mbc07
I will upload my archived copy of my completed playthrough when I get home from school tonight. Night class, so I won't be home until 10-1030 EST (train dependant). I will also run it through virus total before doing so.
Update:
The upload I link below (Google Drive as the zip file is too large for the forum to host) holds the Dolphin with Motion Plus I used for my playthrough of Skyward Sword. There are two configurations for the controller in there that were interchanged for various puzzles. I got those profiles from a YouTube video someone made for best configuring Skyward Sword on this version of Dolphin. I will also link the EmuCR build I downloaded. The settings were chosen based on old wiki entries for the title before it was updated for the modern versions of dolphin. You can view said history on the wiki page, easily. They were some of the older entries, of course, due to the now quite old version of Dolphin.
This Dolphin version was used in portable mode so the configs and saves and everything are in the folder itself. I zipped this up as I am a paranoid nut about data loss and didn't want to risk losing my completed playthrough of the game (and the emulator if EmuCR were to go down) for future sessions. I hope this is the proof you were looking for.

With this new 5.0 rebase version, the aiming with Red Steel 2 isn't working.
You still need to use Dolphin 3.0 build 410 (J. Peterson) to play it with a gamepad. Use OpenGL. The only "little problem" with this build, is that there's glitches on NVIDIA graphics cards.
@ ImpossibleRubix: Thank you for your support!
With the troubles I did run into with Skyward Sword using emulated motion plus, I simply refuse to even attempt Red Steel 2 with it. The drawing puzzles, while I eventually got through them, were a nightmare. It's too imprecise for a lot of the things Red Steel 2 needs you to do on a regular basis.
That, and I do not own a copy of the game.
Further, I cannot recall if Red Steel 2 suffered from the same issues RS1 did, whereby the game was literally impossible to run on versions prior to a recent fix.

Me too, I have so much problem when I first started. And finally, all was working good, but after some hours nothing was working. My problem was the Enabled/Disabled Hide IR. What are you talking about the drawing puzzles? The only time, I remembered that you absolutely need to draw was for open the door. It just take like 3-5 try.
Anyway, Skyward Sword is the most difficult game to figure out how to do the gamepad profile. Once you understand it, other games like Red Steel 2 is a piece of cake (really more simple, it's just a sword game, no flying, no drawing....). I forgot to mention, that you can complete this game (not just play) with the build I mention earlier.
Sorry for the double post, I can't edit it no more.
To all the people that says it's impossible or the ones that just want to know how great the emulation of the MotionPlus is in Skyward Sword, check my little video on Dolphin 3.0 build 410 (J. Peterson) with emulated wiimote:
https://1fichier.com/?kkwwf3hf6f
In this video, you'll see:
-The eyes in the first temple (I choose the part with 2 eyes, because it's more difficult)
-Draw a circle to open the door
-power generator
-Harp
-flying, skydiving, swimming
-other things
You'll see sometimes, for very specific little part of the game, you need to Enabled Hide IR to move to the Left or Right.
For the part that you need to draw a circle in the circle to open the door, you don't even need to draw a circle. You can draw whatever you want or you can even just use your sword to color in white the inside of the circle.
There's only 2 conditions that you need to respect.
1) Never draw outside the circle
2) Draw something big enough
