I want to be able to play Dolphin at 3x and 4x internal resolution. I can't decide on rather to pay more for the [color=#222222]NVIDIA® GeForce® MX150  or [color=#2e2e2e]Intel UHD Graphics 620. When I ran dolphin on my HD 4600 in my i7 4790K it ran Dolphin like crap even at 1080p on Mario Kart 64, a freaking 64 game, WTF? Have the graphics requirements increased for Dolphin or what?? Besides Dolphin, I'd like to play other emulators in at least 1080p and higher... I know the one with MX150 is better but I don't like the fact its got a 4K screen. 4K on a laptop doesn't make any logical sense. Also how would the MX150 run Dolphin at 4K? Running anything other than the native resolution of the screen is ugly. Below are the 2 laptops I'm considering.

The MX150 is the 10-series equivalent of the 940MX, with a pretty good performance boost on top of it. It'll absolutely beat the HD 620. You should be able to get 3x or 4x IR

Intel HD 4600 is very weak, you really should get a dedicated GPU for that desktop.

I run 1080p on my 55" UHD+HDR Samsung TV when the games get too tough... It looks just fine, because 4k is exactly 4x the size of 1080p, so it will just use 4 full pixels of 4k to 1 pixel of 1080p... which makes it a square pixel again and thus no blurring should occur. Games just look like they would on 1080p...
