Has anyone been able to beat the final boss in Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz (RSME8P)? After I attack the boss for the third time, the boss is supposed to do a special attack, but the game freezes right before it. No error message shows up when the game freezes. I have tried various settings such as single core and interpreter, but nothing changed.
I have used the latest version (5.0-5881). The newest version that doesn't freeze at this boss is 4.0-7420, and the problem seems to first show up in 4.0-7422. If anyone else could take a look, that would be great.

It's the boss of world 8. You can play the boss stage in practice mode by holding B and pressing A.
