Probably problem is the other settings.

Sadly I didnt find any guide to know how to use dolphin for performance, quality and others.

I changed many settings on dolphin graphics options and Im not sure how they affect performance.

Well... I don't know if this helps but I don't use any of the default hacks enabled on the graphics setting window. You could try that.
Hi, thanks. With hybrid is not that bad, still goes down to 30fps for a sec or two when shaders happen.

I been using dolphin for so long, that I have no idea which are the default settings

I use this settings:

Dont know if they are ok for a powerful hardware.

Yeah that's what I use, I feel like it makes it more stable.
Turning off Ignore Format Changes is slower.

Turning off Store EFB to Texture Only is significantly slower in many cases.

Texture cache accuracy is whatever. Varies from system to system.

Enabling XFB is *way* slower.

Disabling fast depth is also a significant hit in speed

Disabling bbox varies from game to game.

Please don't mess with the default settings in hacks.

To me when something says "hacks" it tells me that this is a piece of code that provides a quick or inelegant solution to a particular problem (basically it botches things up in an attempt to make in seem stable while throwing useful things out and destabilizing, as in the case with the dual core "speed up" which always crashed when I enabled it).

The caveat to me, is too great a sacrifice for performance gain, besides, with my setup built for quality and stability I get no lag or performance drop so I really don't see what you just said as being the case (about being such a big impact on performance and all ) with what I've seen and tested.

Why not change these settings? They're useless to people who care about getting the stability they expect, like me. I play very intensive games at 1080p 60fps no fps drops whatsoever, and sometimes I even throw SSAA x2 on top of all that, while running custom textures.

If it works for you then it works for you. I think the intention of the advice though was more, not only is it a performance loss, but the entire site is based off of defaulted settings for compatibility, and any settings which cause problems can and are changed on a case-by-case basis in the emulator already. Settings which are more "stable" don't instantly guarantee compatibility for more games than the "unstable" settings. There are titles still that don't work in single core, but work in dual core, for example Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - and single core is probably the single most important "stability" change you can make by my understanding. Nowadays most games are a five star experience with default settings (plus or minus ubershaders), without any noticeable difference messing with the settings more than that besides any enhancements you want to add.

I would rather say: Feel free to turn off hacks, but only if you've checked that it won't hurt the performance too much Wink

Except for fast depth. Turning that off can actually lead to more accuracy problems in some cases.
Thanks for all the tips.

When you talk about hacks, are you talking about the image i uploaded? Or there is another tab?

I only changed this settings based on problems I found on some games.

Xfb was needed for big brain academy, ignore formst changed was algo needed for big brain, texture accuracy to safe to make letters readable on a fitness game, cant remember the name atm and so on.
You really should have changed the settings in each specific game's own ini file to stop them leaking into other games.
