Thanks for answering...At least I know I posted it in the right section. I sure hope someone can help me figure this out. I don't know what to do and really want to get this working.
You shouldn't be touching anything in windows at all afaik, just set it to mode 4 and use real wiimotes in dolphin and connect them from there.

Thanks, but Dolphin doesn't find the Wiimotes and says bluetooth device not found...So how do I get it to pick up the Wiimotes?  The Wiimotes move the cursor around on the screen so that means they are paired and working, right?  I don't know why Dolphin can't find them??

That would mean you are in the wrong mode. Otherwise something sounds wrong with the dolphin bar.
Specifically, it says, "A supported Bluetooth device could not be found. You must manually connect your Wiimotes."

I've tried modes, 1-4.  Modes 1 and 2 show up in Windows as game controllers.  Modes 3 and 4 show up as keyboard controllers.  Does your mode 4 show up as a game controller or a keyboard controller?

So you think there is something actually wrong with the Dolphin bar, then?  Windows finds it and installs it just fine and I can move the cursor around on the screen, even in mode 4, so it appears to be working...  But I dunno.
I forgot to mention, if I select emulated Wiimote, I can pair the buttons...Dolphin sees the buttons fine, but it won't detect movement, shake, etc. That's why I can't use that mode, because only the buttons work. What does that mean?

I don't have a dolphin bar.

If mode 4 is acting like a mouse it sounds like it is wrong to me.

It means it is acting like a keyboard or game controller, but not a wiimote.

It means it is acting like a keyboard or game controller, but not a wiimote.

Do you emulate Wii with something else?  Do you use real Wiimotes?  What are my other options?

I just went ahead and purchased another Dolphin Bar from Amazon and paid for overnight shipping.  It will be here tomorrow.  I really don't think there is anything wrong with it, but it was a little less than $30 to find out for sure, so we'll know for sure tomorrow.

I have a funny feeling like it is going to be recognized as a keyboard/mouse in modes 3 and 4 just like this one, but I hope not.

Can you think of anything at all I can check or try or do?
