Er, I don't know if it's just me, but both Skies of Arcadia and Tales of Symphonia are do not have perfect music, Sound effects possibly (I haven't played trough all of them in Dolphin so I don't know), but not music as both of them seem to have the same problem with "missing instruments."

Play any of them on Dolphin then put them on a real Gamecube, notice the massive difference? >.>

Anyway, anyone know whats causing it?

EDIT: Also just noticed some Voice sound effects don't work either on SOA.

Seriously I would like to know if this is just my PC's problem or a Newer rev broke it since they are both listed as Perfect. >.>
This is odd: Super Mario Sunshine has perfect sound except for a few subtle flaws. One is the loop issue (instruments in music semi-frequently don't play their voice long enough, not too noticable unless you know the music really well) but the other is that the Piantas have no voice, only static. Could it be a new sound type to be decoded, or perhaps some odd synth feature of the ucode? You can get to it quite quickly without going through the intro sequence, as the game uses this sound for the "sound test" feature, on the options screen.

Also, I noticed that SMS seems to have frameskip built in to the game, sort of. With the sound fix, I notice that the game appears to be running at "100%" all the time, even when the action of the game quite clearly is running at half-speed, noticable in the delfino plaza on my machine. It's not consistent, for example the Secret Areas (very light on the poly count, so they run full speed easily) all run normally, and *also* show 100%. This is actually really nice, since the music in the game doesn't slow down with the action making for a much smoother audio experience overall, but I thought I'd point it out since it seems a bit odd. I guess SMS is coded to use timers for its audio processing and frame flushing, even if the game logic hasn't caught up that frame? It's possible that they had this in mind, as I know the bowser fight especially is known to cause slowdowns on real hardware.

Anyway, smashing job as usual.

Luigi's mansion: Suddenly, I'm quite fond of Luigi's whistling along to the theme while playing. ^_^
hi, i can't try in this days the newest revision of dolphin because i'm not at home, anyone know if Mario Kart double Dash after svn3711 has solved their "music stop randomly/or stop if a player got a star " problem? i already know that sound works now but the music ?
