A couple ways to fix problem.

1. Go to User/Config and delete your dolphin.ini file. You will have to keep doing this everytime you want to play a game (this error seems to really affect GC games then Wii games). This will reset the basic config of dolphin so you will have to setup the dolphin configuration and pathways again.
2. Another option is to attempt to open a game by going in dolphin File/open instead of having a pathway set.
3. It has also been posted to run the dolphin.exe in compatibility mode as Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5.
4. Try changing the the directory of your memory card. Didn't help me but was stated in other forum that it helped them with the error.

All possible ways to fix the error. Some works for some and others don't.

Hi,

I've found this post while helping a friend with this error.

http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/source/detail?r=4795 has the fix.
http://www.emucr.com/2010/01/dolphin-svn-r4966.html looks to have a build of a more recent SVN.

Friend confirmed the error stopped.
Its fixed for me i think 10-20 builds ago.
