Hey guys.
I'm looking for a 100% legal way to showcase Dolphin using some open source game or demo. I browsed through wiibrew.org but somehow the games I tried did not work.

Does anyone know a fully open source game/demo that works with Dolphin? (Fully open source = incl. the assets, not just the engine itself.)
Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe maybe?
Downloaded it from http://wiibrew.org/wiki/OpenTTD, expanded the ZIP file, ran boot.dol, got
Invalid write to 0x90000800, PC = 0x80004378

Isn't there just some ISO or so ready to use in Dolphin instead of that strange WiiBrew format?
Isn't OpenTTD the one that fails to run in Dolphin because Dolphin thinks it's a GameCube executable even though it's a Wii executable?

ISO files are pretty rare for homebrew (other than mods of licensed games, but distributing full ISOs for mods like that is of course illegal).

if thats the case, wouldn't making it into a title/channel/wad fix that?
(or run the elf if dolphin can do that)

I only need one, I just couldn't fine any Big Grin
well you can probably replace the executable of a wii game or 00000001.app for WADs

Assuming you start off with an official disc or WAD, the result of doing that wouldn't be fully open source.

making your own bootable WAD isn't that hard really. specially since you can ignore most of the security bullshit because they get ignored when installing anyway.

also, i wouldn't just blindly replace 00000001.app (please check which app file gets booted)
Boot OpenTDD from Homebrew Channel in Dolphin. That'll actually work, it's fun.
