Huh, it doesn't create that folder...? I suppose you should create a folder named GameSettings manually then.

Just create a new folder "GameSettings"

After putting the R8P.ini file in that new folder, you should be good to go.

Will Bounding box work on other android devices .. Snapdragon , Exynos , Mediatek ?

Find the "dolphin-emu" folder on your device. There should be a folder in there called "GameSettings". Put the INI file you downloaded into that GameSettings folder. It's important that the file is named exactly "R8P.ini".

Does using this game settings ini file improve compatibility or performance in other games? As in, should I leave it in the gamesettings folder all the time?

The specific game INI that I linked to will only affect Super Paper Mario. Leaving it in the GameSettings folder all the time is safe, but it won't improve anything in other games.

You can however also download game INIs for other games. There's a list of them here: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/tree/master/Data/Sys/GameSettings/
