I'm running Dolphin 5.0-4719 on Windows 10 with an Intel 4770k CPU and NVIDIA GTX 760 GPU with OpenGL as the renderer. I am running into this weird effect where it looks like the textures are cascading away? I'm not sure if this is the right terminology but I don't know how else to describe it. I've recorded a video clip demonstrating the effect.

Hopefully it's clear from the video what I'm talking about. Are there any settings I can adjust to fix this?
I'm really not sure what you're talking about. Maybe circle it?
I think they may be talking about the weird blur effect around their character model and bike.

That's supposed to be there. It's an effect that doesn't really show up on console due to the much lower res. When you turn up internal resolution, the effect becomes worse.
Here's another clip where it's a bit more apparent

I'm talking about where the "Coconut Mall" text looks weird as you get closer to it. Although maybe that's also just the way that it's supposed to render at a higher resolution.

However, looking at this other video, I don't notice the same effect

That other video is from Dolphin 3.0. So old and broken.
I see it, and it looks like the detail model is changing or something. I don't recall it happening to me, so it could be a settings issue too.
I've solved the issue. I had my aspect ratio set to Stretch to Window. I switched this to 16:9 and it renders properly now.
Set it to auto. If the game supports 16:9 Dolphin will use it. Forcing anything will cause a distorted image in anything that does not support it
