The problem is that your config is wrong. The first part of the USB ID is the vendor ID (VID), the second is the product ID (PID). So VID = 2652, PID = 8684.
Ah ha! I initially had it that way round, but after reading the guide again I switched them lol, my bad!
Now I'm getting a black screen followed by a crash 5-10 seconds later. I've tried different games as well as putting the dongle in different ports.
Hmm, that's super odd because that adapter is supposed to work... Have you tried rebooting? Sometimes that is required on Windows... If it still won't work, then I don't know what's wrong with it :/

I've tried that, no joy - can I send you the logs or something so we can try and get to the bottom of it? If not I guess I'll grab the other adaptor.
Yeah, maybe a USB capture log (made using Wireshark) could tell us where Dolphin (or the game) is stuck.

Hey do you have any idea about the SoundBot SB340 listed on the wiki page?

Hey Leo, I have Wireshark installed but am not sure how to use it, could you please let me know? If it's complicated perhaps we could use join.me?
Cheers,
You would need to install USBPcap -- then it should be possible to select the USB port your adapter is connected to in Wireshark and capture packets. (I haven't used Wireshark on Windows though, so I can't provide more detailed instructions)

Seems to be a command-line interface - when I open it it lists all my connected USB devices, I managed to locate the adaptor:

So I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but I asked it to monitor '3':

I then tried opening a couple of games in Dolphin and it crashed both times. I then pressed 'q' in USBPcap and it also crashed lol... but I do still seem to have a file with some info in:
http://puu.sh/xAxdz/e13e9fbace (I tried to attach it to this post but the file-type isn't allowed... also, it doesn't seem to have a file-type).
Let me know if there's anything I need to do differently! Cheers
Hmm, looks like the adapter is being sent a reset command on launch (which is normal), but the adapter just does not reply at all... I'm sorry, but I don't know why it just refuses to work at all for you...

No worries, do you think it's worth trying the other adaptor we talked about earlier in the thread?
