For anyone who is interested in trying out the new ubershaders, there's a PR called ubershaders 2.0--that's the one you want, and it contains a link to a built version of the PR.
Silly question: what makes Dolphin release a new stable version? What happened to Dolphin 4.0.2 turn 5.0?
We felt like releasing a new version. It takes a massive amount of effort though to hunt down regressions and nobody wants to do that though so we rarely release.
So, with this Ubershader the graphics should look better, correct?
I tried Google the term, but it's not very obvious what exactly will do this to what we see on the screen..
It doesn't make them look better, it reduces/eliminates stutter from shader compilation afaik.
Oh so, so it helps performance/fps I guess.

Actually it hurts it for low end hardware if turned on.
It just eliminates microstutter caused by shader compilation
