Hi
I have a
D935 cpu (pentium dual core 3.2 GHz with 2 mb cache)
nvidia 7200 gs (256mb / 512mb shared)
2 GB ram
i start guitar hero 3
the cpu goes to 100%
i am able to watch the video from the start
then i get to a part that i see like a stage (where i think i should choose the options) but i am unable to see any options
i was able to config the wiimote but i started pressing buttons i was able to hear a noise like i was selecting options but could see nothing on screen but the background.
also.. i am unable to properly setup a logitech gamepad that i have
the program halts when i choose wiimote, then i go into button mapping then i choose my logitech gamepad and the program halts and closes
i am having a hard time getting this to work
any tips?

i have same issue
i rerad some people are using GH with dolphin
i wanted to start my customs
the video starts, then the stage for the menu appears, but the menu is missing
i can move up/down
but i cant get further, no menu, not knowing what im doing in the game
even not knowing if i miss something
just downloaded dolphin, opend my iso...
btw first video is broken displayed, if using opengl, with dx also the 1st is ok
all other are working with both modes
but in both modes..no game menu...

What's about your specs ? (CPU,video card,Ram) download "CPUZ" to check
i start same game as topic starter, guitar hero 3 (in my case original (self ripped) and customs)
i was able to navigate blind into song menu and start songs
i was able to hear the preview, but as with main menu, no menu
during gameplay, i see stage, and really sometimes i was able to see a slow chart, mostly only stage
game does not run 100%
my pc is a dualcore intel 6800 with an ati x1900..
4gb ram, win xp
i only wanted to use dolphin to start custom,s to see quality, issues, and write down songlist, or build and test my own later
but after reading in forum, seems that some people can play it...
tried to download precompiled new svn version, but win links are broken
so i compiled the build myself, without issue
maybe i need to copy something into this build folder, tried other game , seems to start and run normal
so any idea could help
I don't own this game but you may try svn5168 since 52xx,53xx,54xx break some game
